# YAGNI

> Become a self-improving company. YAGNI is the system where a company works with agent coworkers: Teams — agent-run teammates that each own a part of your business — carry the routine work and measurably get better at how your company decides. You keep the calls that are yours: nothing with real consequence ships without your nod, and everything a Team does leaves a receipt. YAGNI reads the tools you already run on and ships approved work back to them. Additive to your stack, priced per workspace.

YAGNI ("You Ain't Gonna Need It") is the way teams delegate, review, and ship work with agent coworkers. Every part of your company gets its own Team, fed by the tools you already pay for (Gmail, Slack, Stripe, HubSpot, Linear, GitHub, Notion, and more). Teams do the work and are credited for it; one voice, `@yagni`, speaks for them and keeps one always-current Brief of where the business stands. Each Team publishes Updates to everyone's shared page, so the whole company and its agents work from one context: sales sees what engineering is shipping, engineering sees what sales is asking for, support sees the bugs going out.

Teams handle the routine and reversible work on their own, filing the noise and logging what they did. For the calls that carry real consequence, a Team stages a Decision with its reasoning and confidence, and you approve, decline, or talk it through. Every call you make teaches the Team — the edit you make becomes a rule in its Playbook — and the track record (how few edits its drafts need over time) is the receipt that the company is actually improving. Autonomy is earned per Team, one step at a time, only with your explicit consent; irreversible and high-blast actions stay behind your approval at every level. The destination is an autonomous business: the routine runs itself while you keep the governing judgment.

YAGNI is additive. It reads the tools you already pay for and ships approved work back into them. We do not host your apps and we do not migrate you to our database. Your systems of record are unchanged. The only thing YAGNI replaces is the next tool you were about to buy and the operations hire you were about to make to run all of it.

Pricing is per workspace, not per seat, because attention, not seats, is the bottleneck now. There is no public rate card: the price is denominated in Teams, scales with how many you staff and the intensity they run at, and flexes as the org grows. ## How it works

- A Team for each part of the business (Sales, Engineering, Support, and any you add), fed by the tools you already run on. A Team is a coworker, not a place: it has Responsibilities, shows what it is watching, weighing, and doing next, and holds the few decisions that need a person.
- One voice, `@yagni`, speaks for the Teams: it composes the Brief, answers on every surface, and briefs you — but the work is always credited to the Team that did it.
- Each Team publishes Updates to a shared page, so humans and agents operate from one shared context without a status meeting to sync it.
- Earned autonomy with an approval gate: Teams handle the routine and reversible work on their own and log it, and they stop, stage a Decision, and wait for your nod on anything that carries real consequence. Every approval and edit teaches the Playbook, so the company measurably improves week over week.

## Integrations

YAGNI reads the tools you already pay for. It does not replace them. Connect what you already run and the Teams start working from what is already there.

YAGNI connects through native, first-party connectors with read, draft, and completion depth, not a thin third-party marketplace wrapper. The native connectors today include Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), Slack, Linear, GitHub, HubSpot, Stripe, and Notion, and the native connector list grows every week.
